We are seeking two Research Assistants to support a feasibility study focused on improving foreign credential recognition through an AI-enabled platform. This role supports an iterative research and development process, where insights are continuously incorporated into platform design and refinement.
scope of work:
Research assistant wil:
Support data collection (literature review, policy scans, pathway mapping)
Assist in organizing and documenting stakeholder consultations
Help compile and synthesize findings
Support updating platform content and pathway information
Assist in integrating feedback from community participants
Contribute to iterative revisions of research outputs
approach:
The work will involve:
Ongoing collaboration with the Lead Researcher
Supporting real-time updates to the platform
Engaging in a feedback-driven research process
deliverables:
Research summaries and background scans
Documentation of consultations
Support in updating pathway content and datasets
eligibility:
Individuals or organizations with:
Research and writing skills
Interest in immigration, labour market integration, or public policy
Experience with qualitative research or community engagement (asset)
Priority will be given to applicants from racialized and gender-diverse communities, as well as individuals with lived experience navigating foreign credential recognition processes or settlement services.
