With a Master’s in Occupational Health & Safety and a Master’s in Environmental Health Sciences, I bring a strong academic foundation backed by seven years of industry experience in manufacturing. My expertise lies in workplace safety leadership, risk assessment, compliance audits, and fostering a proactive safety culture through training and engagement.

Currently, as an International Student Advisor at Memorial University, I support international students and their families by providing guidance on settlement, and community integration. I design and coordinate events tailored to their unique needs, ensuring they have access to vital resources and a supportive network. My role allows me to bridge gaps in support services while advocating for inclusive policies that enhance the student experience.

Beyond my professional roles, I am committed to leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. I have organized large-scale events, facilitated workshops, and contributed to initiatives that drive equity and inclusion. I was a panelist at the NL Vision for Newcomer Volunteering Summit, where I shared insights on the importance of volunteerism in fostering community connections and professional growth for newcomers. Additionally, from winning a hackathon for optimizing food bank distribution to representing Memorial University as a guest speaker at CACUSS CoP, I actively seek opportunities to create lasting impact.
