The First Community Innovation Table
Women entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders gathered with PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise to discuss barriers and opportunities in women’s entrepreneurship.

On June 28, 2025, Expertise Hub Cooperative and Collective Interchange Cooperative proudly hosted the first Community Innovation Table (CIT) as part of our regional coordination under the Collaboration for Transformation project in partnership with PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise and funded by WAGE Canada. The session brought together women entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders—including representatives from Business & Arts NL, Hospitality NL, Memorial’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, the City of St. John’s, CBDC, and ANC—for a dynamic conversation on barriers and opportunities in women’s entrepreneurship. Insights from this dialogue will inform regional and national policy recommendations.
