On June 28, 2025, Expertise Hub Co-operative and Collective Interchange Co-operative hosted the first Community Innovation Table (CIT) as part of the regional coordination activities of the Collaboration for Transformation project. The initiative was delivered in partnership with the PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise, with funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE).
The session brought together women entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders, including representatives from Business & Arts NL, Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador, Memorial University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, the City of St. John’s, CBDC, and the Association for New Canadians (ANC). Participants engaged in a meaningful discussion about the barriers and opportunities affecting women entrepreneurs.
